Rihanna has reclaimed the Number One spot in the UK singles chart tonight (November 20) with her Calvin Harris collaboration 'We Found Love'.
The singer, who first bagged the top spot with the track seven weeks ago (October 9), has now spent the most time at the top of the chart this year.
She has now spent six weeks in the Number One position this year, thwarting competition from Adele, who boasts a record of five weeks. However, when both album and singles positions are taken into account, the '21' songstress has spent 23 weeks at the top, as opposed to Rihanna's nine.
Elsewhere, Slow Moving Millie climbed into the Top 40 with her cover of The Smiths' 'Please Please Please Let Me Get What I Want'. The track, which is currently being used as the soundtrack to department store John Lewis's Christmas advertising campaign, entered the chart at Number 36.
Meanwhile, Snow Patrol missed out on the Number One spot in the UK albums chart, as their sixth studio LP 'Fallen Empires' entered at Number Three, while JLS's third record 'Jukebox' claimed the highest new entry by bagging the Number Two position.
Singer Michael Buble took the Number One position with his festive LP 'Christmas', moving up one place from its Number Two placing last week (November 13).
